One of my favorite places to visit is food markets.
Torvehallerne is an upscale fresh food market in Copenhagen. Not only can you find fresh ingredients here, but you can also feed your eyes on many pretty sights. There are mountains of Danish pastries and rye bread; vibrant colors of shop front, hanging kitchenware, fresh produce; tidy arrangement of fruits, spices, glass bottles, cheeses, seafood. The glass and steel buildings allow plenty of natural light inside which makes everything so pleasant to look at.
I bought myself a cinnamon bun for breakfast. I have a thing for cinnamon buns/rolls! This one had just the right amount of cinnamon sugar filling, and it wasn't overly sweet because it didn't have the glaze on top which was fine. Someone please start selling legit cinnamon rolls in Hong Kong!
